Save those Treasures!
Since the schoolhouse fire in 2021 the Society has had to start from scratch to rebuild the museum. Please don’t let your “treasures” become dumpster items when you pass. The Historical Society loves the things your kids will probably throw away. Designate such things to be donated to DMPHS so that the trash company doesn’t haul them away! We cherish these things like you do. Yearbooks, school report cards, old photos, baptismal certificates, and so much more, are just a few types of items we collect. Please click the link below to print a copy of our donation form and include the form along with any items you may be donating. We could not do what we do without the help of our community! Thank you for all the donations we have already received!!

Old School House Museum (destroyed in the fire)
The museum was housed in three of the rooms of the former Dauphin School House, where memorabilia of the area's past were on display. Unfortunately, the fire took the majority of the the displays and we are working to rebuild that collection. Items in the museum captured the area's rich history and were donated by or on loan from the public.
Below is a list and photos of many of the beloved items lost.
